Dearing brings more than 45 years of insurance industry experience, including over three decades specializing in professional liability, and extensive experience developing coverage solutions for complex and hard-to-place risks.

Dearing joins SPG from Risk Placement Services (RPS), where she served as Senior Vice President and Managing Broker of Professional Liability and Allied Health. Her expertise spans professional liability, cyber, management liability, medical malpractice and complex specialty risks. Throughout her career, she has led specialty brokerage teams, developed insurance programs and contributed to industry education, including serving as an adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Dallas. She holds five professional insurance designations and has received industry recognition from Insurance Business America.
